Deadpool is a comic book character that is known to be a mentally unstable mercenary. Since he’s self-aware and breaks the fourth wall, we created a campaign that uses him as the actual creator and pitchman for all the marketing of his new video game. Oh yeah, and the tagline we sold in for the game (it printed on the gamebox!) was "Shit just got real."

In the days leading up to the Marvel panel crash we had a Spiderman billboard put up next to the San Diego Convention Center which is were Comic Con was happening. Nobody thought much of it... Then the day of the announcement Deadpool decided to "pretty it up" a bit
